One day Marduk will be recognized by all as the greatest band ever.

I have to admit that they bore me quite often. They were also no-shows at MDF, bad form.

They seem to go a bit far to piss off Christians, a noble cause, yes, but they try too hard methinks.

As far as the music goes, they're good, but not great.

If their other albums in any way resemble the epicness of Panzer Division I can see myself REALLY liking Marduk...

Panzer Division is pretty crappy compared to their other stuff.

It does, however, have awesome cover art.

If what you say is true then Pery's ravings about this band may actually hold some truth to them

I agree, everything pre-Panzer is superior as is La Grande Danse.

Also, this is one of the few instances that I prefer the reissue cover art to the original. The original cover art has a Swedish tank, on the reissue it is a Panzer Tiger.

Those of the Unlight is my favorite.

I like Nightwing, personally. But that is because Vlad Tepes is one of my favourite historical figures. From a purely musical standpoint I would say Those of the Unlight.

Its a gooder. After it you should go with either Nightwing or Dark Endless. You would probably like Dark Endless, it is largely considered to be the first blackened death metal album ever.
