| Hopefully, you people who listen to rock and metal will have the brain to not bash on rap. It deserves respect, like every other music genre does, wether you like it or not. And so, Do you personaly like rap? Who's your favorite rap artist and groups? Here are a few of my favorites: Atmosphere Immortal Technique Mr. Hyde Dark Lotus And thats just a few | |

| my tastes haven't progressed much in rap since last you asked:
I like Eminem, Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, and Snoop, but not much after 2001. I like eminem for his wordplay, makes some pretty comical comparisons and isn't afraid to poke fun at anyone, including himself. I like Dre's beats, I like Busta Rhymes' and Snoop's flow, Busta has a quick release and he keeps most of his songs up-tempo, Snoop is so smooth and i like some of his stuff alot. also, luda somewhat, though just cuz it's catchy. Also, I like some Presence and Wu-Tang at points. | |

| I like some of it, though I can't stand most new "main-stream" rap. I like Run DMC, Dr. Dre, Fort Minor, and some more that I can't think of at the moment, it's a good genre that has been given a horrible name due to the main-stream shit that has been horribly over-played and overrated, but there are those that I enjoy | |

| I do like rap. But as it was pointed out, the horrible mainstream bullshit that is played all over the radio and tv gives rap a bad name. So sometimes I do say to people I hate rap, but in reality I only hate the crap they actually call music that is played on the radio 24/7. But some artists that I enjoy, whether they're regarded as mainstream or not are: Kottonmouth Kings (even though I'm far from a stoner haha), Jon Young (go check him out if you haven't already!!), Eminem, early Dr. Dre like Phil said, I hate Lil Jon's "singing/rapping" but I do love his "crunk" beats he's got going on. And of course the 2 greats of rap B.I.G and 2Pac. I like more, I'm just giving a few that I listen to. | |
