| Incredible band. Ascendancy is easily one of the greatest metal albums made, period. I feel like they let the attention they were getting get to their head and they really rushed out The Crusade. There are a few good tracks I can listen to, but overall I just don't like it. But Shogun is brilliant in my opinion. They took all their great elements and mixed it together. There are still a couple songs I'm no into, but it is a very strong album and is 2nd right behind Ascendancy. I don't see anything beating that. | |

no comment I agree with DisturbedOne, Ascendancy is one of the greatest albums ever created, and some points of The Crusade seem rushed, but it's still a great album, and Shogun is quite possibly THE best metal album ever made, in my opinion at least, Trivium is my alltime favorite band, so I'll always be a tad biased when they're being discussed

That it is, though with Trivium I was actually glad they did The Crusade, while not near the caliber of their other albums, it brought on its good aspects in Shogun, all of their music contributed, I can't begin to imagine how epic their next album will be

| well, i was talking about for me. I like shogun alot, but heafy's vocals ruin some awesome parts, like the breakdown in Like Callisto. His voice doesn't have the intensity in the lower, almost growling scream when it comes in, and it takes away from that otherwise amazing part. a real shame | |
