| Genrally I dont take notice of bassists, unless they perform vocals like Marco and ICS. They just seem to melt into obscurity for some reason. Does this happen to anyone else? | |

Most bassists really lack talent and just play the base note instead of actually bringing something to the table, thats probably why you don't take much notice of bassists Kerb.

Oh yeah, that's his name On the topic of bassists not being noticeable, I agree, which is why only 3 have really stood out to me, Arif because he's just fucking insane (not very easy to hear in PTH's full tracks, but if you can get a hold of the instrumentals you'll see what I'm getting at), Obscura's bassist because he literally just shreds more as a lead guitarist would, and Langlois because, well, have you heard None So Vile? As far as bassists that actually play as bassists normally would, Langlois is probably mah favorite

| Oh man, go look him up. He is like one of those Prog bassist faggots who is technical for the sake of being technical and lacks TOTAL feeling in his music. | |

| He played for Mr. Big?
Heard some of their stuff, so I can't form an opinion on them yet. Although, Paul Gilbert is incredible.
Also, that asian guy from Dream Theater is good.

| Paul Gilbert had some cool songs when he did solo shit, although I really hate the one guy Rusty Cooly or whatever his name is. Although it was lulzy when his kid kept touching his guitar neck in this video when he was sweeping and he pushed him away and was like NOOOO hahah. CHIIIIIIIIIILD ABYUUUUUUUSH | |
