Post songs you think send a strong message here, quite simple really.

For now, I'll just post one of my old favorites:

Violence Fetish by Disturbed: I think this song sends a very real message, that our society is becoming more and more obsessed with violence with each passing day, that life has almost become centered around violence.

Tool- Reflection

Beautiful lyrics, describing coming to the end of yourself and finding something beyond the emptiness and how we are but reflections of a greater light, without which we would be "lifeless satellites, drifting." It's about finding that light and letting it touch you, bringing out "hope and reason" before we we waste away under the cares of the world.

Dance With The Devil by Immortal Technique

He uses a sick, twisted story to portray a message. If the Devil asks you to dance, you better say never, because a dance with the devil might last you forever.

disturbed divide - being a unique individual and questioning or terms of freedom

disturbed sons of plunder - about how anyone can get a record deal and how it all sounds the same

tool vicarious - about society's addiction to violence of any kind

um thats all i got right now

Turn Soonest To the Sea by Protest the Hero: talks about how society sees women as nothing but flesh, as whores, "dignity is not physical, and your flesh means more than you" and how maybe someday there will be equality among genders

I think he's trying to denounce the originality of the lyrics...at least, that's what I took away from this

Down From the Sky by Trivium: Similar to Violence Fetish's message in context, this song sends a strong message about how wars are destroying what was once a beautiful world and how as long as there is tyranny and such, there will always be war.

no, I'm saying that the passage isn't about not being a whore. it's about the tribulation and the evil city named Babylon (likely just a metaphorical name, and not meaning the actual city being rebuilt, but could refer to geographical location as well). the harlot is a metaphor for this wicked city. I believe A7x use it as a declamation of how the world is going, at least by the video. about all the rampant violence and such. idk though

To the Fallen Hero by God Forbid: Pretty self-explanatory, this is a song of remembrance, that your passed loved ones and heroes should live on through your memory of them

Another Hero Lost - Shadows Fall...Excellent song in my opinion. Slow song and its meaning is similar to To The Fallen Hero by God Forbid. Talks about the heros dying for our country in this god forsaken war.
