Moonsorrow is a folk/pagan metal band formed in Helsinki, Finland, in 1995. They are known for their epic, organic composition. The band call their sound "Epic heathen metal" and try to distance themselves from the term "Viking metal" as much as possible, as the vast majority of their lyrics do not concern Vikings. Their lyrics are heavily based on Finnish mythology, legends and poetry

This band is awesome, though some of their longer songs on their later albums are a big much. Kivenkantaja and Voimasta Ja Kunista would be my favourites.
