| Part of the Order of the Silver Night, also called the OSN.
I am very close to completing my first demo, and should be done either tomorrow or the next day.
Here is the demo of the demo (lol...):

| Yeah. I am going to rerecord the last part, as I recorded it when I was feeling very lazy and it's out of time and out of tune with the rest of the song. | |

| Yeah, and, beings as their login is the comp's administrator (which is retarded considering I'm the only one who ever uses it, save tax time) only they can download softwares, so only way I'd be able to play that is if it were a different file type... | |

| Yeah so I checked out the demo that you posted which was the 14 minute track. It wasn't bad, some of the riffage on there, mainly the beginning riff with the like 3 notes reminded me a bit of the song Landfill from Pitch Shifter's album INDUSTRIAL. So it was actually pretty cool, it became backround noise for a few minutes but then around the end it caught my attention again. The vocals are my main problem really, I didn't enjoy them they seemed forced almost. I think you should redo that, its fine I guess for a demo, my first demo was unmixed and shit so I shouldn't talk. But yeah all in all it was pretty cool, get real drums though, the drum machine may have worked for this demo, but I implore you to get real drums, it will make it so much more personal with the feeling of the song. And if you are gonna do more long songs like that, a real drumset with you unleashing fury on those skins giving out your anger, will really make the recording DEMAND the attention of a listener.
Are you selling or trading those demos? I want a copy.

| Giving them away for free Thanks for the feedback, I agree, the vocals were very forced (I'm not very good with them, lol). I can't afford a drum kit as of now, but hopefully for the future. I have already started recording my next demo, which is more experimental than this was. I have downtuned all the way to A standard for the two lowest strings, and kept the 4 higher strings in standard tuning. I've also added more of a drone aspect to it, and it's kinda sounding like Sunn 0))) with drums and Tyranny/Ahab-esque guitar leads. I will hopefully be shipping out a couple disks soon, and I'll notify you when I am so I can send you one. | |

| Oh free discs are awesome, I like those alot. But I want mine signed. Yeah I would really just say work on the vocals then if you can not get a drumset. But really start saving up, it will be worth it. You can also contact other drummers and maybe make an arrangement with them to record some drums for you as well. More Experimental is good, being like everyone else is fucking gay and stupid so its good to see you aren't falling into that trap of being a copycat band, just try not to sound TOO MUCH like Sunn 0))).
You plan on playing shows or getting session members for that kinda stuff? Also tell me more about the OSN thingy. Intrigued.

| I'll sign it then My vocals are getting better, although I'm not sure I will use vocals on the next release. I will have my job again soon (I have summers off) and hopefully will make enough money for a kit, although I can only play a couple simple beats. But, I've gotta start somewhere. Nah, it's doesn't sound like Sunn too much, just the whole downtuned drone aspect of it. It's not ruled out for the future, but I doubt I'll be doing live shows any time soon. I am also in a thrash band, although I just joined and they haven't practiced with me yet. I will be playing bass, and we definitely want to do live shows. The OSN is basically a group of musicians. It all started on another forum (metalthrone.net). We noticed that many people had their own projects and decided to do a collaboration/split effort between all 8 bands. I am going to use my existing demo as my contribution. The album will have a theme, where each of our submissions will be a different part of the day/night. I am doing dusk, along with another black/doom band named Atomic Tide, although our projects are completely different as AT is heavilly influenced by Black Sabbath. For more information on the OSN, go to The forum dedicated to the group | |

| When I first started drums it was horrible so don't worry. You can get a set on Musician's Friend for like 400 bucks which is decent, its better than the one I use right now which is borrowed from an on/off drummer I work with.
I am tuned to the Black Sabbath album VOL.4 most of the time, sometimes I tune to Venom - Welcome To Hell which is like half a step lower or something.
What kinda thrash? Black Thrash, Death Thrash, Thrash/Crossover, Post-Trash, or just regular Thrash?
Sounds like a pretty cool split, I will check out the forum right now and see if I find any bands I like on there. I am ultra picky with music I like though. Is the split pro released by a label or like for download or like just burnt CD-Rs you guys sell for like 5 bucks over the internet?

| I have a lightscribe burner and a laser printer, so they will be as good as I can get them.
I have a special way of determining if a copy was made by me or not, and I have numbered copies (although the release is unlimited, I make the disks to order).

| I had a release lightscribed on CD-R for Youkai. I am still waiting for it to come in the mail from Rotted Afterbirth Records from AusFAILia, I hope it doesn't look gay. Limited releases are fun, I limit mine(when I make them myself) to like 20 and I handmake covers and inserts and shit, total DIY. So if someone bootlegs it its easy to see, because no one puts effort into DIY shit anymore.
Also checking out the forum, some kid wants a world wide LLN, too bad that will never happen, and plus I am anti-social so small groups suit me better. But yeah Im gonna read on a bit more, forum looks decently amusing.

| My friend Kibby from Toilet Crust started a small group and bands are from all over as well. Don't know if you will like the bands there, since you like Black Metal you might like Youkai since it has alot of Black Metal influence.
