FOAD isn't metal. It is Crust Punk and therefore shit.

One, I use 'kvlt' satirically. I don't give a shit about being 'tr00'. Two, Crust Punk is shit. I like some things that aren't metal. For instance, The Clash will always have a spot in my dried up rotten apple of cynicism that most people would mistake for a heart, as will The Ramones, and, for some strange reason, Frank Sinatra. Thirdly, don't be a fuck head. I also hate some things that are metal, such as Ahab, Scar Symmetry, and Dark Fortress.

I respect Darkthrone way more now.

Been getting into Darkthrone (among a lot of others) a good bit recently. Great band. Personally I like both their old and new stuff a lot, the new a good bit more. F.O.A.D, Dark Thrones and Black Flags, Under A Funeral Moon, Transilvanian Hunger, Circle the Wagons, and Soulside Journey are my favorites. Still have some more of their albums to get to, though.

A Blaze in the Northern Sky, Under a Funeral Moon, Transylvanian Hunger, and Panzerfaust are clearly the best Darkthrone albums. Ravishing Grimness, FOAD, Sardonic Wrath, and Total Death are also awesome, but not quite in the same league. Haven't heard Circle the Wagons yet, how is it?

Circle the Wagons is great. It sounds like FOAD but with a more NWOBHM vibe to it.

FOAD is my favorite.

I got Circle the Wagons today, good album is good. I would place it in the same league as FOAD, maybe a bit better even.

Yeah, I personally like it a bit better. His clean vocals are really good, pleasant surprise.

This thread sucks, so I'm going to fix it now. 2009 Pery sucks too, I'd kick his ass any day of the week, he is almost as bad as 2002 Pery, and I fucking hate that guy.

I still can't beleive I didn't like Plagueweilder. It isn't their 'best' but it is my favourite now and has been for at least a couple months. Hindsight is 20/20 though, I suppose.
