Listen to the song "Waiting Forever" here

http://www.myspace.com/andrewcomposer
(my other, much older songs can be ignored. I'll be redoing them.)

This song started as a improvisation on the scale of B Pure Minor on the piano. From there, after finding out that what I was playing sounded AWESOME, I recorded it into acid pro 7, and added the Cello and Viola synths, which ended up being the major part of the song carrying the melody.

I would love feedback on this song, if you could please.

While I dont listen to that style of music, I did quite like it. It was nice and relaxing, and was well composed, I thought (though my knowledge of composition is nil, I'll admit). The cello went well with the piano, and the melody was really nice.

I think it was composed well too. But if you ever wanted to get critical on my composing style, you'll find that I didn't compose this to match a formal song format (such as ABC, ABABCB, AAA (the different letters means different sections of the songs)). In fact I nearly improvised the whole song. However, the song does closely resemble the ABC song format, with a few exceptions.

Is there anyone who took music theory that would like to take a whack at my song?

I know some music theory from my guitar teacher (he majors in music theory, dude's a music theory fanatic), if I could play embedded videos on myspace I would give it my best shot, but my comp's software is pathetic like that, unfortunately
