You say this as if I don't already know it. Not one of the technical bands I really enjoy is technical just for the hell of it, take Nile for example, they integrate the technicality into their music rather than just "wank" away at their instruments.

Well done grind is good, but well done death metal is better IMO.

Nile, Dying Fetus, The County Medical Examiners, Death, Impaled, Origin, Morbid Angel, Suffocation (ya fuckin fanboy ), hell even JFaC, etc etc are all American. I wish to settle this argument once and for all. Where was Morbid from? OH LOOK, SWEDEN! Also, Dismember and Nihilist are pretty sweet. Yes, Nihilist is Entombed, but those demos under that name are better than anything they ever did as Entombed. That being said, American death metal is pretty awesome too. Morbid Angel, Death, Deicide, Job for a Cowboy, etc. Everything else that Niggerfail mentioned either blows, or I don't consider to be death metal.

I enjoy Job for a Cowboy. Carcass bores the fuck out of me. Nile, while decent, aren't worth the hype of mentioning them again on these forums. They have decent vocals, instrumentation gets lost within itself while they are trying to do too many things at once, and there is barely any musically Egyptian themes to most of their songs. i.e. They failed what they were trying to do.

Actually I enjoy most of their members more than anyone here. The overlaps not included, other than Cthulhu I rarely agree with anyone who is a member of both.
