| I will start with Mondo Medicale, when getting into a band that I like a little bit I generally focus on one song till I can start to appreciate them and then I listen to their other songs. That's how I did it with Scar Symmetry, I focused on Noumenon And Phenomenon. | |

That's stupid. You can never judge a band by one song. What if the song you listen to is the only bad one on the album?

That's stupid. You can never judge a band by one song. What if the song you listen to is the only bad one on the album? I'm not judging the band on that one song, and in most cases, I listen through the album one time to determine what the best song would be for me to focus on.

| The actual song titled "Mondo Medicale" isn't on the Mondo Medicale album, is on Death After Life...
Don't be an idiot, Hammy, just get the albums.

| Who said the titles had to make sense? What you're doing (trying to judge a band based solely off of ONE SONG) is stupid, just get the albums and listen to them, no need to pussy your way around a band, just go for it and enjoy. | |

Once again, I am NOT JUDGING them off of one song, I listen through the whole album one time through, and then I find one song that I can get accustomed to the band through, and focus on that one song for a bit. THEN, I listen to more songs by that artist. It worked with Scar Symmetry, and various other artists.

I has idea, just get "accustomed" to the whole fucking album, seriously, if you can only find one song to help you get into a band, are you really sure that you like them?

It's not that I can only find one song to help me get into them, it's that if I try to focus on more than one song from a new artist they all kind of blur together in my head. Focusing on one song is faster than trying to focus on the whole album. There is only one case where getting accustomed by listening to the whole album a bunch of times worked was with Obscura, and that was because I was nearly instantly accustomed to their greatness.
