Ego Fall

Ego Fall is a Beijing-based metalcore band.

The foundational line up of China’s first Metal Core Band EGO FALL came from the former inner mongolian grunge band called SUBCONSCIOUS which was found back in 2000 with Su BoRi also on the vocals. After a tempolary departure of Guitarist Wang Yang on year later, a new vocalist Wang Bin came into the band along with Guitarist Mao ChenWei and led the music changed more towards metal style. The band frequently combines Chinese folk melodies with their music.

A rather odd band, though the folk elements are a nice touch and the clean vocals are good and blend well with the metalcore vocals, which are pretty bog-standard metalcore screams (except in Chinese).
