| One of my favorite Doom bands, Evoken are Funeral Doom with a blend of Doom/Death. Their music moves a bit faster than most Funeral Doom while still keeping the slow epic feel of the genre. Just all around an excellent band, I recommend them.

| Quietus is clearly the best album by this band. Mostly because it was the album that finally made Funeral Doom awesome. | |

| Nah, the debut is my favorite. They have yet to release a bad album, though. | |

| The first one is good too, but Quietus seems darker and more funeral doomy. The debut is more of a death doom album. | |

| Yeah the first one is pretty speedy for Doom.
Esoteric is way better than anything Evoken has ever accomplished, though. I'll make a thread... | |

| Esoteric is pretty great too. Their funeral doom stuff is their best. | |

| To be honest, I like all of their releases about the same, save their latest which, while still awesome, wasn't quite as good. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Embrace the Emptiness. | |
