System of a Down

Been on a binge of them recently. Toxicity and Hypnotize are my favorites.

Discuss.

They're a good band, but I never really could get into them for very long...

I don't mind them at all. I liked their first and second albums the best.

Only song I've ever heard is "when angels deserve to die" I hated the vocals until the time the chorus came up, I really enjoyed his clean voice but when they went back to "talking quickly"
I was let down... My only attempt to listen to SotD

Poor attempt. Listen to their self-titled. Serj's solo stuff is also great. Serj has some of the most varied vocals in all of popular music. Odds are if you don't like his vocals at one point, you can wait and they'll change to ones you do like.

Haven't listened to much of Serj's solo works, I do remember liking the song or two I heard, though...

only SoaD song I really like is Sugar.

What have you listened to from them? Much of their first CD other than Sugar?

I dun remember, the other songs I listened to by them weren't even remarkable enough for me to remember their names.

Informative. So you basically haven't given them a real shot and would like to categorize them by what you remember at one time having heard, which you can't really even remember. Way to go, Niggerfail.

I liked a few of their songs like BYOB, Toxicity, Cigaro, soldier side. But I never really got into them.

If I didn't know better I'd think Hammy and Knightfall were the same person.

Also Hammy, you're not black, so don't use "dun".
