The NSBM Thread

Why do you assume that's what would happen in a state of nature. There's not really any reason to assume it would, mutual aid is significantly more useful than competition in a lot of cases, especially among intelligent primates. This is true even more so in situations where resources are plentiful rather than scarce.

I really don't get what you see as a dream. I'm saying long live freedom and damn the ideologies. That's as much of a dream as a boar believing in his tusks..

I just don't have faith in humanity that it could happen. It's a dream. I want there to never have to be more wars, but there will be. Same thing.

I believe that's what would happen in a state of nature because that's how humans are.
IF resources were plentiful, then it wouldn't be a problem, but that's not how it is in a state of nature usually.

I love science and I'm studying to be an anthropologist, so I know a little about primatology and humans. Orangutans will gather and cooperate when resources are plentiful, too, but they're usually solitary becayse they HAVE to compete. There's just not enough resources usually. Humans are way more destructive, greedy and violent than other primates. They're just innately very selfish and in a state of nature that leads to killing.

Back on topic, I have recently decided that I very much like Nokturnal Mortuum's latest album (if you consider them NSBM).
