| Update:
Studio Drums done!
As Alexander the Great once declared : "We're done recording the drums !"
...or did he ? Can't say I was really listening at the time...
Anyways...we do...and we'll jump next with the guitars and monstrous bass.

Indeed he does, He should listen to their discography IN ORDER, it gradually gets more extreme leading up to IAFA, should help him gradually get used to their insanity

I think your problem with Utopia is that it isn't anywhere near as diverse or fun as In a Flesh Aquarium, and you, like me, were probably expecting it to be something like IAFA. Utopia focuses more on a shred-based prog/black metal sound rather than the brilliantly insane style employed in IAFA, Utopia's still an incredible album and far from sane, but I think your problem is that you had higher expectations for it, I quite enjoy the style it uses, nowhere near as much as their current sound, but still love it. Also, Fil, you don't really seem to like music with death growl style vocals, which is the majority of the vocals in Utopia, remember, Leilindel didn't join until 2 years AFTER Utopia, and the former female vocalist didn't really do much

Nope, I expected you to like Utopia more, not quite as crazy and easier for most to get into

There's some great parts about the music itself, though it's not as avant-garde as they have become. Definitely nowhere near the unique awesomeness that they are today.

Yeah, they've definitely gotten progressively better, though I still love Utopia for what it is, not as diverse, but brilliant all the same, can't wait to hear what they've come up with this time

| Myspace Update:
Time for a small update from our twisted camp. Nearly all the guitars are now recorded and a third of the vocals have been immortalized. It's a real pleasure to work with Jef Fortin at Badass Studio and he's doing a great job.
We now have more virtual homes that you can visit when your inner voices are talking too much. Come and take a peek at our Facebook & Twitter saloons.
A couple of more dates have been added to the PN09 European Tour as well.
In the meantime, for those living in the Montreal/Ottawa area, we're doing a last show before going on tour this Fall. Our metal brothers AUGURY ( who recently signed on Nuclear Blast ) will also be there for the aural fiesta. The show is taking place at Chez Maurice in ST-LAZARE ( 35-40 minutes west from MTL ) on Saturday, June 27...advance tickets can be bought at those store :
-PROFUSION 1843 rue Ontario Est
-SOUNDCENTRAL 4486 Coloniale
-VOLUME 277 Ste-Catherine E.
Later my friends... | |

| Unexpect news:
Already a week has passed since we left Montreal to start that monstrous adventure that is the European Progressive Nation Tour ! Having a most wonderful time with the bands, crew and fans! We're now in Germany after an insane trip in Scandinavia & Poland...I guess the adrenaline rush won't stop for a couple of weeks now as we roam through all Europe with a mission in mind : finding the golden fleece and playing some music along the way of course... We've added some pictures from the tour on our myspace and will be updating it as we go.
We'll be finishing up the mixing process of the new album as soon as we get back home. In between, we'll be doing the Trois-Rivieres Metal Fest this year with Suffocation & Quo Vadis ! Don't miss this annual and classic event on November 13 at the Bâtisse Industrielle!
Here is a short presentation movie about a recent event nearby Montreal where the artists working on our next video presented the shooting set to the public...Thanks to KONSTRUKTIONSVĂ–GEL & DELVISION for making that happens !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&v=y0AP3DCl1AQ
Of course... it'll stay undercover until the album is released. He he he... See you soon you madmen !
