PostSubject: Absolution Project   Absolution Project EmptyTue Jun 30, 2009 4:51 pm

They've been around several years and done a few tours, but they're still not as well known as they should be. They are originally from my hometown of Rochester, NY and had a release party for their second CD this last Saturday at Rochester's favorite local metal venue. I got them to autograph their new CD and got the drummer to autograph one of his drum sticks for me, which was a little bizarre 'cause I've known the guy for three years. Smile

They're probably a bit lighter than most of the stuff people on here listen to, but they are quite good: http://www.myspace.com/absolutionproject

Wow, I'm shocked you guys have heard of them! Yeah, they're pretty cool. The Drummer Craig used to be in another local band I supported until they broke up, called December's Halo. One of the other members of December's Halo, Tommy, a good friend and former coworker, is now in a band called Ten Dead Heroes and they were one of the openers for the Absolution show along with Cry to the Blind, who are also really good.
