Polkadot Cadaver

I could've sworn we had a thread for them...ah well, we do now

Polkadot Cadaver was formed in 07 by remaining members of Dog Fashion Disco after DFD split up. Personally, I much prefer Polkadot Cadaver to DFD, though both are/were brilliant bands. Polkadot Cadaver are somewhat like a modern day version of Mr. Bungle (one of their biggest influences), they blend a lot of styles of music to create a quirky and bizarre sound of their own. They currently have one album out, Purgatory Dance Party, and have mentioned another in the works, R. Kelly's Big Black Spaceship. One of my alltime favorite bands, I highly recommend them.

Well, they're more like DFD for obvious reasons, but they have a flare all their own. Altogether catchy, and some awesome lyrics, but their first still can't match the brilliance of Adultery, and they certainly won't surpass DFD in greatness with only one CD. However, I expect sheer brilliance out of this next one, which may rocket them to #1 in my fave bands. But we shall see.

If the next album is as epic as its title they may just become the greatest band ever

I actually prefer the title to the first one, but this next one could be more avant-garde and maybe mix in some R&B? That would be interesting to hear....
