In my opinion, they've improved with each album, moving from a very raw, talented group on Leave a Whisper into a hard rock powerhouse with The Sound of Madness.

I'd recommend 45, Save Me, I Dare You, Devour, and The Crow and the Butterfly.

Personally, I absolutely love teh first two albums but with the third I think some of who they are and how they sound flew out the window...it doesn't sound like them at all....not aven a hint of them....I am not terribly fond of the new album, but it is ok.....I love the first two though.....though i have to find that ablum and relisten to it...maybe I didn't give it much of a chance...who knows...

the new album branches out more. give it another run through. it's a great CD

I think the first time I listened to it, I just expected it to have the same sound and didn't think of that them as changing their sound...I plan on making another run through it once I find the cd...lol

shinedowns new sound is a lot better for the people used who hated it
