Orphaned Land are a folk metal band from Israel, but with a slight difference. Their folk influences are middle-eastern rather than Scandanavian, and their sound is quite interesting. They are certainly a bit of an oddity.

Meh, was decent, but for Middle Eastern sounds and influences, Nile is the only way to go
