I like this band's first two albums, but with time they just became extremely generic.

Not a bad band, still getting into them. Its a shame they dont publish their lyrics though. And yeah, Gaahl is a bit of a faggot, based on my understanding of affairs.

That said, the new release from Gorgoroth looks promising. They've got a fantastic lineup, and hopefully they'll do it justice.

Only heard their latest and a couple of songs from their older works. I prefer the newer stuff, the old stuff is musically inferior and lyrics about sucking satanic balls, cant care bout those.

Judging mid-era Gorgoroth to their previous and latest material is sort of asinine, considering that there was a different person writing the material for much of the time.

Also I don't get the Gaahl hate either, it's not like he was the one who instigated the lawsuit. That was all King, I get the feeling Gaahl could've cared less.
