A very experimental band for their time with songs like Boris the Spider and I'm A Boy, the songs experimented with both different vocal styles and didn't just use a regular chord progression repeated constantly throughout the song. They switched it up, and could make the catchiest songs (The Seeker, Long Live Rock, etc), the prettiest songs (Love Reign O'er Me, Behind Blue Eyes), and their greatest hits have such variety hardly found in bands of that era (like the Beatles).

Don't like the Who. Do like a lot of the bands that they influenced.

They have to be my favorite classic rock. Floyd and zep are close though.

I like King Crimson, but I guess I considered them more jazz-fusion than just classic rock. I also must admit that I'm quite fond of Chicago.

I found them to be quite innovative for their time. Their drummer was quite brilliant.
