I was a nu-metal fag hag back in my junior high days. I listened to all that gay nu-metal shit. Disturbed, korn, all that jazz (though, still today, I do enjoy very few of their tunes) That was quickly changed as I switched to a charter high school which specializes in film, music, and art. I thank that school and it's old students for my ever expanding taste in music.
Before and during my nu-metal fag hag days, I was also frequently listened to J-Pop/asian pop. God, that shit became annoying after a while. The only artist I kept from that phase is Angela Aki. I'm unable to pull away from her awe inspiring piano tunes.
