| Good band is good. To the Nameless Dead remains one of my favourite folk/celtic metal albums. | |

Yeah, love that album. I'd say I like The Gathering Wilderness about the same, though.

| The latest two albums are excellent, though To the Nameless Dead is the better of the two. Haven't listened to their earlier material much yet. | |

| I've yet to hear anything by them I don't like. Seems to be more harsh vocals the farther back in their discography you go. Earlier stuff is more Black Metal than their more recent stuff. | |

| No love for their back catalog?
Journey's End and Spirit the Earth Aflame up to par with their last two, and although flawed, Imrama, Storm Before Calm, and the demo are very good too.

| Their early albums are good, but unremarkable, they don't stand out as a black metal band, but as a folk/Celtic metal band they are incredible, simply for being a diamond in a sea of vomit. | |

| Unremarkable, maybe, but now I don't have to look through a shitload of shitty black/folk/shit bands to find shit that isn't shitty.
shit. | |

| Yea 99% of those bands are over-rated. Primordial is okay to me but nothing amazing. Not my style. | |

| On the topic of this band, what are everyone's thoughts on Blood Revolt, a new band Alan does vocals for?
