Mütiilation

Mütiilation is a French black metal band belonging to Les Legions Noire along with Vlad Tepes, Bèlkètre, Torgeist, and pretty much every good band from France. Lyrical themes include depression, satanism, and general occultism. Remains of a Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul is their essential album, Black Millenium (Grimly Reborn), Majestas Leprosus, and Sorrow Galaxies are really good too. Go listen.

Vampires of Black Imperial Blood is my favorite.

I'm suprised that you like anything included in LLN. I haven't actually found that album yet, from what I've heard though, not so good.

That was the second LLN release I ever heard, behind Mutiilation's Remains of a Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul.

Most of the LLN sadly is awful, though. Torgeist's Time of Sabbath is awesome.

I like Vlad Tepes, Bèlkètre, Aäkon Këëtrëh, Black Murder, Dzlvarv, Satanicum Tenebrae... Most of it, actually.

Finally found Vampires of Black Imperial Blood. Holy fuck, great album. Easily as good as Remains, maybe even better.

Magical Shadows of a Tragic Past is really emotional. Love the simple -yet effective- riffing.
