Avenged Sevenfold

Since I know Knightfall is a HUGE fan of A7X, I'll make a topic.

I was never really a fan of A7X until their most recent album, Avenged Sevenfold (clever name, yeah). They seemed fairly generic, until now. Their self-titled is very experimental, even adding in some horns (A Little Peice of Heaven) and testing more rock-like seas (even some country-rock on Dear God). I enjoy listening to M. Shadow's voice, there's something different about it.

Love the sarcasm at the beginning I am partial to their old material, Waking the Fallen was a masterpiece, in my opinion, they have regressed, but they're still a good band

because i'd rather take a walk and freeze my ass of too cool down....plus the dog needs the excersise.

I absolutely love this band, but I'll admit, even though I prefer Synyster Gates' skill on the earlier albums, I don't really like those ones and am only a fan of their recent release.

I do like Clairvoyant Disease and Beast and The Harlot, but my favourite album is definitely the self-titled one.

Despite my like for the new one and my dislike of the old ones, I do think it's a shame how much they've changed since they began, especially how much Synyster Gates has had to tone down his ability in order for them to become more well-known.

i like thealbums all the same (sept sounding the seventh trumpet is my least favorite)there all awesome,syn was good on STST and city of evil,toned it down a little on self-titled but not enough that he was still awesoemness

Yeah, he was still good, just not as good as I've heard him when he's doing heavier music, but I think that's just my preference. I prefer heavier guitarists. But I still love Synyster. He's always in the top half of my list.
