Favorite vocalist(s)

I know that, but my personality makes it so that I can't properly enjoy songs that have lyrics that are satanistic. Take A7x for example, at first, I liked their sound, but then I really listened to their lyrics, and I kinda stopped listening to 'em....

Very few bands have lyrics that are TRUELY Satanic, some may be misinterpreted that way, but few actually are. Also, A7X isn't Satanic, their new stuff just sucks

Well I dunno about the rest of their songs, but the one I heard, Beast And The Harlot, I have no clue how else it could be interpreted other than satanic.

Um, The Beast and the Harlot is a BIBLICAL STORY interpreted into a song, I dunno where you're getting Satanic from

I know this has been covered and all. But almost all of Disturbed's songs have positive meanings. If it's not directly positive, it's about overcoming something or something else similar. To my immediate memory, they don't have any songs that are even "twisted", let alone as far as "Satanic." and Christians and Catholics and the like who believe shit like that DISGUST me.

Also, I absolutely love Voices, FOR it's message. It has absolutely nothing to do with Satan...Knight's already quoted what it means.


Also. David is Jewish, he grew up going to a Jewish school, and wears...uhm....some religious Jew thing that I don't really care to remember what it is around his neck. Not satanic.

That's my two cents for the day. Not saying you disgust me, as you already apoligized and all. Just layin it out there.

They are alright. They aren't that good at doing Christian-like vocals, at least when they are live. But hey, They aren't christian, they are two different vocalist, what can you expect? But I am sure when they get in the studio, their unique style of vocals will bring something new to offer in scar symmetry. Just got to wait for their release by early next year, (I hope).

Christian Alvestam is now in Miseration and Solution .45. I prefer Miseration over S.45

I thought the album with the new guys is set to release in September And yeah, I'm just hoping that their style is gewd, and I'll have to check those two out

The only one I have doubts of is Lars. When he's performing live, he kind of hits the vocal melodies a little flat.

It should be painfully obvious that Dead is my favourite vocalist. But as he shot himself, my favourite vocalist is indeterminable. A tie between Gaahl and Erik Hagstedt is the closest to a definitive answer I can give.
