I know, I start out arguements very well, and at times finish them just as well, but eventually, I get tired of the endless bickering and get to the point where I don't care what the other person says, I just want them to shut the fuck up (metaphorically, unless they talk to their computer) but I've been trying to keep a clearer head lately and it's been doing me well

| yeah, that's what you gotta do. if you let your emotions overcome you, your argument tends to weaken. emotions and reason tend to be polar opposites haha | |

If I may... I was getting a haircut during the nearly entire arguement. And for the part I was present for, I was arguing that it was stupid to judge singles based on them being singles, not judging a band based on singles. Its a completely different theory, because even you can admit that there ARE good singles, but at the time, you were just ranting on about how singles sucked. It seemed like an unfair assessment.

| there are good singles, but mostly, they aren't a band's BEST songs. The majority of people want something catchy rather than technically and lyrically talented. Just a fact of life. Some artists are good enough to do both, but the majority put out anything that's marketable. Knighty's side started to deteriorate as time went on, but he was the lone man standing, and the others logic was ill-based, but they had rule of the majority....kinda like how singles normally do..... | |

I wasn't ranting about singles sucking, I was ranting about how stupid it is to base your entire opinion of a band/artist based solely on their singles I know you were. But at the beginning of the arguement, you hadn't made that clear. you were all SINGLES SUCK! SINGLES SUCK! YOU CAN'T LIKE SINGLES! SINGLES ARE HORRIBLE! WHY WOULD YOU LIKE ANY BANDS THAT HAVE SINGLES!?!?! Ok, maybe not quite that dramatic. But you get my point. And so that's what I argued against. Then, by the time the arguement was over, you kindof switched gears and made yourself more clear.
