| Fucking love this band. Colors and The Great Misdirect are my favorite albums. And I'm not talking just about for this band, but in general, those are my favorite two albums of all time.
But they're not metalcore. Or at least their last two releases aren't. They started out as a progressive metalcore band, but now they've dropped all metalcore influences and now they're purely progressive metal.
One more thing: BTBAM are 100x better than PTH. Protest the Hero are way too core, not to mention that they're all wank, no music. Between the Buried and Me may have some guitar "wanking" but they do it tastefully and their music has a direction. I can't remember a single PTH riff because they're all so bland. | |
