Get out of my forum. I'll have to send you Better Off and No Suprise later. Those are the good days. Bad Girlfriend is decent, but its a slight recession. I saw these guys live, although by then, I had lost all my friends and spent nearly their whole set trying to find everybody. They sounded good, but I dunno about what kind of show they put on.

but theory is much better i like them despite the obvious similarities. The singer tends to not oversing so much and they are just all around much better. still not something i listen to often, but tolerable music

| I don't know what crack people are smoking. Nickelback and TOAD sound the same musically, but Kroeger and Connolly have significant differences in their voices. I immediately know a TOAD or a NB song when I hear it. Default sometimes throws me, though. | |

| Are they both (NBack and TOAD (haha, toad)) not exactly the same garbage big time record labels like to give us? They are fairly similar, and full of gay. Neither is better than the other. | |

| Vocals are a bit more oversung on Nipplecrack. Otherwise, I'd have to agree | |

| What are you guys problems with post-grunge? Nickelback, Creed, TOAD, they're all pretty good, but you guys knock 'em down... | |

| Because we are elitist pigs.
I don't mind some post-grunge, but I like very little of it.
It's all because after you become accustomed to the underground music scene, you begin to despise everything played on the radio-- besides lady gaga. Whoever hates lady gaga and her sick and catchy beats can go die. I'm serious too. pa-pa-pa-poker face.

| I don't care whether music is underground or mainstream, if I like it, I like it, I feel the same way about Disturbed (most people complain about it being too mainstream, prob why you don't like it RiD), the above mentioned post-grunge bands, and a whole bunch of other stuff, including a tiny bit of nu-metal. Just because something is mainstream doesn't automatically make it worth crap. | |

| Agreed. That's why I like Lady Gaga.
But everything on the radio has this thing called an audience, and audience that is easily pleased with recycled bands, three chords, simple melodies, catchy choruses, and same song structure for every single song. There are few exceptions. I don't like what the regular radio audience likes, therefore, I don't like alot mainstream music.
I often express this fact by being an elitist, semi-militant metalhead.

| I like both underground and mainstream music, though I lean more towards mainstream. And I've taken many a verbal beatings for liking Nickelback. But meh.
Saw these guys live again, though. They were much better than the first time. And I crowd surfed. Woo.
Curious, though. Are these guys not as hugely popular in the states as here? Kent has only heard one song by them...I mean, these guys crack out hit single after hit single here. It's kinda repulsive. More than half of their newest album are hit singles, I believe. And they're releasing ANOTHER single from the same album. Jesus christ.

I had no idea anybody else who liked black metal also liked her. Let's be best friends.
