Actually one of my best friends has Nickelback as his favorite artist, until he forced me to listen to one of his albums several times over, I had put him down as 'hate'...

Ahh, the typical mainstream position. The singer IS the band despite all of the other members. I hate that viewpoint. He does do alot to ruin the band, though.

Also, I'm guility of the whole singer thing for certain bands. If I don't like em much, and can't be bothered. Like TOAD itself, Tyler Connolly is the only one I know and the only face I recognize. But usually, I try and not do that.

Well... I dunno if Demon Hunter is mainstream or not. I also listen to Protest the Hero and The Syncope Threshold and I'm fairly sure that those are underground.

Protest the Hero is not underground..... they had a #1 debut in Canada. They're not quite as well-known in the US, but they're not underground.

And Demon Hunter is semi-popular, especially in Canada I believe. Yea, none of those are any Nickelbacks, but TST is the only underground one.

For the record, Lady Gaga's music isn't horrible. I can tolerate it, and I even like a song or two...

but...

I can't stand her music videos. Seriously, she has one of the ugliest female faces I've ever seen. She'd serve as a nice paper bag fuck, but that's about it. And even time I see a video, I think, "Goddamn, her face is ugly."

Poker Face sucks, though.
